15th Strike Wing 47th Founding Anniversary

15th Strike Wing Celebrates 47th Founding Anniversary Trojans commemorates their 47th founding anniversary on 27 November 2020 with the theme 15SW@47: Taking the lead with Excellence in Surface Strike Operations, Soaring as One with Sharpened Capabilities through Innovations”. In lieu with the pandemic, this event was conducted following minimum safety protocol against COVID-19. The celebration was graced by the the ACC, Commander MGEN MARCELINO RANDY B TIBAYAN PAF as its Guest of honor and speaker. These morning activity was highlighted by the blessing of A-29B Engine Shop at 460AMG and the giving of recognition to the outstanding personnel, squadron, and group of the Wing and also giving special recognitions via VTC to Government agencies, LGU Cavite, PAF Unit’s, and Civilian Sectors who have contributed in accomplishing the mission of the Wing. Thanks Giving field mass

15SW conducts Thanksgiving Field Mass and Inter-faith thaksgiving Prayer Service.The Trojans, under the leadership of its Wing Commander, BGEN ARAUS ROBERT F MUSICO PAF offered a thanksgiving Field Mass and Inter-Faith Thanksgiving Prayer Service with the theme “Nourishing the Faith in the Midst of Pandemic, A Moral Compass” officiated by REV FR (MAJ) DENNIS S ALINGALAN CHS last Saturday 21 November 2020 as a pre anniversary activity in commemoration with the celebration of 47th Founding Anniversary of the 15th Strike Wing held at 460AMG Hangar with its live streaming @ 15th Strike Wing facebook page.The Inter-faith Thanksgiving Prayer Service was participated by representatives of different religions namely IMAM (LTC) FAROUK B SARIP CHS and PASTOR (CPT) ALLEN R MUNDA CHS.A sharing of reflection thru VTC was also conducted with the attendance of the following personalities: LTGEN OSCAR H RABENA PAF(RET); MS TETCHIE DURAN-DY; PASTOR SIR DE ROSARIO; and SHIEK ALIHASA S TAHA.Praying as one and giving thanks to God for another fruitful and challenging year amidst this COVID-19 Pandemic.

Blood Letting

BLOODLETING ACTIVITY 460AMG Hangar, MDAAB, Sangley Point, Cavite City 20 November 2020 “Share Blood, Give Love, Become a Hope” A quote from the Wing Commander–BGEN ARAUS ROBERT F MUSICO PAF on his message during the Wing’s 47th Pre-Anniversary Bloodletting Activity held at 460AMG Hangar of MDAAB, Sangley Point, Cavite City. Along with partner organizations— the Philippine Red Cross- Cavite City, APO Cavite City Alumni Association, ACDI Multipurpose Cooperative and AFPSLAI is the successful conduct of the activity which made possible the collection of 108 (48,600 cc) blood bags coming from blood donors of the Wing, the Philippine Coastguard, Philippine Navy and Philippine Fleet. Blood donation keeps maintain a safe blood supply in the community as it saves numerous people trapped in life-threatening situations. Coastal Clean Up

COASTAL CLEAN-UP Dose Palmas, Sangley Point, Cavite City 19 November 2020 “Preservation of our environment requires not much, but a sincere effort from us to the future generations. A legacy of protection and care for Mother Nature for the children’s of our children’s.” A point from BGEN ARAUS ROBERT F MUSICO PAF, in his speech during the kick-off of the Wing’s 47th Pre-Anniversary Coastal Clean-up Activity, attended by 80 Wing personnel together with volunteers from our stakeholders—Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines, Cavite City Rescue One, Sangley Airport Police Station, LGU-Cavite City, MDAAB Enlisted Ladies Club and Brgy Officials of 53-A (Yakal), Cavite City. With pride and willingness, the three-hour environmental activity. As a result, a total of 200 Sacks of garbage were collected in the coastline of Dose Palmas, Sangley Point, Cavite City.
