1. Provide close air support to ground and naval forces.
2. Performs Tactical air reconnaissance.
3. Provides rocketry, strafing and bombing of enemy forces and installations.
4. Provides deployment of combat ready forces in areas of operation’s as required by higher headquarters.

17TH ATTACK SQUADRON

1. Provide close air support for ground and naval forces.
2. Performs tactical air reconnaissance.
3. Provide rocketry and bombing of enemy forces and installations.
4. Provide deployment of combat ready forces on areas of operations as required by higher headquarters.
5. Perform other functions as directed by higher headquarters.

18TH ATTACK SQUADRON

1. Perform Close Air Support to Surface Forces.
2. Perform Tactical Air Reconnaisance.
3. Perform Airborne Strike Control of Air/or Surface Forces.
4. Provide Deployment of Combat Ready Force on Areas of Operations.
5. Perform other Functions as Directed by Higher Headquarters.

19TH COMPOSITE TACTICAL TRAINING SQUARON

1. Conducts initial and upgrade pilot training for tactical air operations.
2. Conducts standard evaluation of pilots and maintenance crew.
3. Conducts specialized training on aircraft maintenance.
4. Provide inputs in the formulation of training programs and doctrines.
5. Conducts other related in-house training, seminars and workshops for tactical air operations.

20TH ATTACK SQUADRON

1. Provide close air support to surface forces.
2. Conduct tactical air reconnaissance.
3. Perform airborne and strike control of operating air and surface forces.
4. Provide air control in support of other aircraft.
5. Perform interdiction missions.
6. Provide limited air evacuation and relief operation in support of Civil Military Operations.
7. Provide deployment of Combat Ready forces in areas of operations as required by Higher Headquarters.
8. Perform other functions as directed by Higher Headquarters.
